Address: ul. Sienkiewicza 1 , 82-120 Krynica Morska
The facility was built in the place of a former lighthouse. The first building of this type in Krynica Morska was built and launched in 1895. In 1945 it was blown up by Germans who fled from the Red Army. Today's figure was built by Elbląg craftsman Edward Stach. Over 100 steps lead to the top of the Krynica lighthouse. The gallery at the top offers a wonderful view of the Vistula Spit, the Gulf of Gdańsk, the Vistula Lagoon and Frombork. You can also see the Tri-City and the Russian Kaliningrad region. The lighthouse is administered by the Maritime Office in Gdynia. It has a conical shape, at the base it is 6 meters in diameter, and at the top 4.5 meters. There is one of eleven shore stations on the Polish coast of the AIS-PL system of the HELCOM project, which enables automatic monitoring of ship traffic in the coastal zone. The antenna of the station in Krynica Morska has a height of 53 m a.s.l.
