The park, also referred to as' 'Myślcinek', is the largest city park in Poland, located three kilometers from the center of Bydgoszcz. It covers an area of 800 ha. It has a typical forest character, with several hills. It is eagerly visited not only by locals, but also by tourists from all over the country, because it captivates with the beauty of nature and rich infrastructure allowing for active leisure, practicing competitive sports, as well as relaxation and peace. In addition to lush vegetation, the park's natural attractions include ponds. On the largest of them there is an island called '' bird '' because it is a habitat for birds, it is inhabited by colonies of gulls and terns. One of the most popular recreational places in the Forest Park, where you can spend your time eagerly is '' Różopole Glade ''. Countless concerts, conventions, festivals, picnics and sporting events are organized here, mainly in the spring and summer. Interesting attractions located in the park include, among others: a botanical garden, a horse recreation center, ecological educational paths, Myślędzińska Park Railway, the 'Zacisze' forest, the exhibition and market center. A large area of the park covers as much as 4.7% of the entire city. The ponds cover 18.5 ha, the largest of them is 10.3 ha.
